CHSMES send our all female team to the UNB Currie center to participate in the Catch Catch Hit event. It is an early version of Volleyball and teaches the students skills to prepare them for volleyball. CHSMES did extremely well and we are extremely pround of all of them.
For the next 6 weeks K4 will be skating on Wednesdays, and they will be recieving skating instructions from our own (former STU hockey player and coach of the Fredericton Midget AAA Canadians) Mr. Seymour. We will be at the LBR Jan 21, 28 & Feb 4; then we will be at the Willie O'Ree for Feb 11, 18 & 25. Please feel free to join us.
CHSMES participates in the 24 hour tennis marathon in support of raising awareness for the "Right to Play" that helps children pay for sporting activities.
Great Job CHSMES!
Great day @ CHSMES
Congratulations to team "Mokoseweyu" for "Claiming the Gold" in CHSMES's 2nd Winter Olympic Games.
Little Rays Reptile Show was at CHSMES today and students had a fantastic time checking out all of the animals... The students and staff loved the show and got some great photos...
K4 Working on their Skating skills... they're improving each week.
On Tuesday Dec 4, CHSMES celebrated fall with a feast prepared by the staff for parents and students... The meal was deliscious (Mr. Seymour's Chili was the fave). We had a great turnout. Right after the feast our staff prepared a great Literacy Night...We even had a special guest - Santa Himself - who read to all of the students while they enjoyed a nice cup of hot chocolate. Thanks for all who attended and congratulations to the winners of Chapters gift card as well as coupons to St. Mary's Pharmacy (Thanks St. Mary's Pharmacy for the contribution).
Thank you all for coming out and supporting the CHSMES fundraiser. We raised $790 and had a great evening of laughs.
Also big thank you to all community members, staff members, SMEC, Retail, Wally for buying all the kids ChSMES toques and all parents who support our awesome school.
On Friday, October 4th, CHSMES celebrated the annual Terry Fox walk... Every year, we walk up Highland Avenue across Bear Lane and back to the school. What a great day it was for this years walk.
Thank you for all that donated $2.
