Grade 5 did an excellent job putting this event on and we thouroughly enjoyed it. We even got to show off some of our sining skills wcith Grade 3's version of Down by the bay. They created thier own rhymes for the song.

Today we celebrate Earth Day and Nifty FIfty Station Day! We are having a blast! Remember to take care of Mother Earth! Woliwon

Hello Parents!

This week we have been very busy with many activities geared towards easter. We even made Easter Eggs out of shaving cream, and acrylic paint! The students were very creative.

Recognition Award winners this month were: Luke and Jordan for being Math Whiz Kids in the Fraction unit, Jordie recieved the Maliseet award, Dawson and Isaac for hard work in Math with Mr. Fisher, and Nevaeh for Phys. Ed. Way to go students!

Grade 3 wishes everyone a Happy Easter, and we will see you all next week!

On Friday, Grade 3 was excited to have Shane Dutcher, an art teacher from the College of Craft and Design, in to give us an Art history lesson on Pinch Pots. We learned a lot of really interesting things and he even brought in some artifacts to share with the class. The students learned about double curved motifs, and even got to make pinch pots of thier own.

We want to say a big WOLIWON to Shane for taking the time to come and teach us!

Today student's experimented with speach bubbles, and said what they would do if they were leprechauns. Of course we had to dress up just a little bit for the occasion. :)
