It was a great Friday to be on 50! Enjoying frozen treats on a sunny afternoon.
Grade Two has been enjoying a lot of hands on activities during our Measurement unit this month.
Thank you so much for meeting with me this week to discuss your child's progress. I am so lucky to have the opportunity to watch your children learn and grow during their second grade here at CHSMES. I'm very pleased to inform everyone that we had 100% of parents attend this term at Parent Teacher Interviews so we will be looking forward to our class pizza party! Please remember to contact me at the school throughout next term if you have any questions or concerns.
The attached file was sent home today along with this term's report card. Please sign beside a time that is most convenient for you and return ASAP. Happy Easter and I look forward to meeting with you next week!
Since December, Robert, Tanner, Kole, Justice and Mark have been having fun while working hard on their reading skills in a special after school "Boys Club." Each of them have shown significant improvemnet in oral reading. We celebrated their success on Friday. Here they are showing off their awards. Keep up the excellent job boys! I'm so proud of you.
Wow! My students went above and beyond with their Leprechaun Traps! Excellent work! We have them all set in the classroom so stay tuned to see what happens. We are working on wonderful writing pieces to go along with this project. They will be all set to show you at Parent Teacher Interview Day. Thanks to Keagan for the delicious shamrock cookies and a very Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all from Grade Two!
We had a blast using licorice and marshmallows instead of base 10 blocks to help us add today.
This week we're learning about antonyms. Since we're all dreaming of nicer weather we thought we'd make an ANTonym picnic for our bulletin board.
