Dear K4 Families,Welcome to the new school year at CHSMES! The first day of school is an exciting milestone in your child's life. Your child is embarking on a journey that will lead them on many roads of discovery and learning!

As most of you are aware your child will have the opportunity to be taught by not only ONE but TWO experienced teachers!!
Myself and Barb Sacobie. Our K4 Class consists of 29 students that have been divided into 2 groups (please see the sept 3 document "Welcome K4 2014-2015")

On Wednesdays from 9:00 - 11:00 am both groups are combined for our Outdoor Classroom. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Your child will need indoor sneakers, a change of clothes in case of accidents, 2 containers of play doe and a healthy (peanut free) snack/drink.

Speaking from past experience,Please take time to label all of their belongings.

All of the K4 staff are available to provide support and assistance and look forward to working with you and your child.

Mr Brooks sings happy birthday in maliseet to all students on their birthdays. After a few years practice he is actually starting to sound like ELVIS!!!

Shanelle on the 26th , Laura and Lauren on the 27th, Laurissa and Shawna on the 28th!

Look who turned 5 years old! TJ on the 24th and JAYANN on the 19th

This is one of many K4 Favourites from the Handwriting Without Tears Program! The K4's have great fun singing and dancing while learning the difference between top, bottom and middle. English is a top-to-bottom, left-to-right language. That's the way we read and write. Research supports the importance of the use of music in the classroom. Music and Movement teach letter formation and promotes memorable and entertaining letter instruction.
