Ms. Muise

If you are a parent or guardian of a child in Grade One please send a friend request to: K Muise Chsmes

My name is Karlee Muise and I am your Grade One teacher. I have been teaching at CHSMES since 2010. (WOW! Where has the time gone?)

Grade One is a huge jump from Kindergarten! Ms. O’Neil and I worked very close together therefore the transition from Kindergarten to Grade One should be very smooth. We will have lots of fun learning together and I will make sure to keep you all informed about our learning goals for each month.

Parents, please make sure that your son or daughter has indoor shoes appropriate for the gym! Also, please label your child’s belongings that may get left behind (sweaters, lunch bags, water bottles, etc.).

At CHSMES we like to keep in touch with parents. Please check out our website to see all of the neat things taking place in the classroom as well as throughout the school. Also, DO NOT hesitate to contact me if there is ever an issue or question. You can do so simply by calling the school (preferably during after school hours), sending a note with your child in the morning or by sending me an email at karlee.muise@nb.aibn.com.

I look forward to the school year ahead!

Everyday boys and girls in Grade One have an addition fact challenge. Our very first winners are... The BOYS! Congratulations boys!

Welcome to Grade One!

My name is Karlee Muise and I am your Grade One teacher. I have been teaching at CHSMES since 2010. (WOW! Where has the time gone?) You may not have seen me around the school very often last year because I welcomed my very first child into the world. Although I enjoyed my time at home I am VERY excited to be back and I hope that you are too!

Grade One is a huge jump from Kindergarten! Ms. Saunders and I have always worked very close together therefore the transition from Kindergarten to Grade One should be very smooth. Congratulations to Alexis NP for being the FIRST student in Grade One to successfully complete the "Racing Through the Facts: Addition 0-10"!

Keep up the AWESOME work Lexi!

Due to the extreme cold weather warning for Tuesday, February 24th sledding, is postponed until Thursday, February 26th and PJ Day will be tomorrow!

It is VERY difficult to select a few students to recognize each month for their hard work and progress because there are many Grade One students that are so deserving! Here are the lucky recipients of January's Recognition Awards!

Xavier - Class Spirit Award and Maliseet Languge Award

Joshua - Literacy Award

Justine - Physical Education Award

Keep up the great work Grade One!

Winter break has come a day early! I just wanted to congratulate all students on a fabulous performance yesterday! I am very proud of you. Have a wonderful holiday. I hope that Santa finds you!

From: Ms. Muise :)

P.S. Don't forget to practice your sight words and READ, READ, READ over the holidays!

P.S.S. I can't wait to see you all in the new year!

Just a quick reminder that Grade One will be skating tomorrow (Friday, November 28th) at 10:00 rather than our regular 10:30 start time.

Woliwon!

Ms. Muise
